The Grossery Gang Series 3 - Yucky Has Never Been More Fun

Sep 05, 2017

Most adults will never understand why children are fascinated with yucky things. But the fact remains that they are, which is why it’s in your best interest to keep a lookout for The Grossery Gang Series 3. This collection will be in stock August 25th, so mark your calendar!

What Is “The Grossery Gang”?

Grossery is a funny play on words. In this case, it refers to grocery characters that are way beyond their expiration date. They hang out in Cheap Town at the Yucky Mart. The Yucky Mart used to be a bustling grocery store but has not been frequented after a new highway to Sales City was built. Of course, you would expect the store to be empty, but that’s where The Grossery Gang will surprise you. They’re hanging out on every one of those aisles, playing dirty tricks on each other.

The Grossery Gang is made up of over 150 items that should have been thrown out, but instead festered to life when the store was abandoned. They’re definitely not edible, and they smell bad, too. But kids will enjoy playing with Putrid Pizza, Rotten Egg, and Dodgey Donut. In fact, they’ll probably compete with each other to collect the grossest items in the store.

Who Is The Grossery Gang For?

Any child who loves grossness will enjoy these unusual characters. However, the manufacturer designed them with children ages 5 to 12 in mind. Don’t be surprised if this collection appeals to older and younger kids as well, and quite possibly even a few adults. But The Grossery Gang is more than a collection. It’s based on a TV show, and there’s also a movie. For kids, who can’t get enough, they can even play a free app with their favorite characters. Series 3 refers to the newest season of the TV show, and it includes all the characters that young viewers enjoy on TV.

How Is the Series Sold?

Customers can buy characters from their favorite gang in a collector pack. These come in two-packs, four-packs, and ten-packs. As an added bonus, the bigger packs also include a ‘Rotten Receipt Collector’s Guide’. This guide includes all the characters from every season. Once your young customers get a few of these yucky characters, they’ll want to collect them all, and you can help them do that! In fact, kids might come looking inside of your store just to see if you have some of the characters that they’re still missing. To make collecting these items more challenging, there is also a Limited Edition Grossery Gang.

How Can You Play with The Grossery Gang?

Kids will devise various games with their Grosseries. For example, they may decide to serve a rotten banana for dinner. But there is also a set of Color Change Grosseries. These change colors in the heat. All you have to do is rub them with your fingers, put them in warm water, or leave them out in the sun. The color will revert to normal once the Grosseries cool down. Kids will figure out quickly that they can speed up the process by sticking them inside of the fridge. This is sure to give adults a scare, which makes it even more fun for kids.

Parents may not agree with kids that these toys are wholesome, but most of them won’t object. After all, kids will be kids. And it also can be quite interesting to see what happens to groceries when they take on a life of their own, as long as it doesn’t happen to the edible groceries in the fridge.

How to Take Advantage of The Grossery Gang in Your Store

Of course, kids and adults can find The Grossery Gang in every major store. That’s probably one of the reasons you should consider stocking these items, too. They’re just so popular, and series 3 is set to do even better than series 2. The demand for Grosseries will be stoked with the newest movie that’s coming out at the end of July.

To take advantage of the Grossery fever, you might choose putting up a display in your store. These items don’t take up a lot of room on the salesfloor, so you can easily stockpile a variety of them. Investing in the 10-packs might also be a good idea. That’s because a collector item like The Grossery Gang is more fun, when you have several of them to play with.
